In July, “Kejia” intelligent service robot independently developed by the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) won the championship in the global service robot competition for the first time and its evaluation score is 3,600 higher than the second player, marking the historical breakthrough of service robot research & development in China. Taking the lead in such an international robot match with the largest scale and the highest level reveals the world leading service robot technology that the USTC has.

During the journey to create "An Innovative Lake City", Hefei takes the vigorous development of strategic emerging industry as its important direction. It is understood that the "Kejia" intelligent service robot independently developed by the USTC is able to conduct semantic comprehension, automatic planning and other functions, which is currently one of the service robots with the highest intellectualized degree. In future, studies and industrialization of Hefei robot industrial park will focus on intelligent service robots by aiming at market demands.
