Wang Xuejun and Li Jinbin Visited Innovation Experience Area for Goocoo Robots on the 19th RoboCup

    On the afternoon of July 22, Wang Xuejun, Secretary of Anhui Provincial Party Committee, and Li Jinbin, Acting Provincial Governor came to Anhui International Conference and Exposition Center, watched the 19th RoboCup, and made an inspection tour for various robot products that take part in contest or exhibition; they came to innovation experience area for Goocoo robots and conducted friendly interactions with intelligent robots from Goocoo Group. Tang Chengpei, member of the Standing Committee of Anhui Province and Secretary General, Wu Cunrong, member of the Standing Committee of Anhui Province and Hefei Municipal Party Committee Secretary, SHao Guohe, Vice Chairmen of the CPPCC Anhui Provincial Committee and Secretary General of Provincial Government, Ye Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary General of Provincial Government, Xia Shaoquan, Deputy Director of Anhui Provincial Office and Director of Provincial Standing Committee Office, and Municipal leaders Zhang Qingjun & Wang Xiang accompanied the visit. Chairman Yuan Qihong of Goocoo Group accompanied the visit to innovation experience area for Goocoo Robots.
    After watching robot football match in contest area, Wang Xuejun, Li Jinbin and their party firstly came to innovation experience area for Goocoo Robots, and watched with great interest the service demonstration of new-generation intelligent service robot from Goocoo Group. Chen Gang, Vice General Manager of Anhui Goocoo Robot Industry Holdings LTD, made detailed introduction on characteristics and functions of usher robots, meal delivering robots and coffee robots, and demonstrated man-machine interaction. The intelligent services and lovely model of robot won uniform affirmation from leaders; Secretary Wang Xuejun even conducted friendly interaction with robot, and watched the effect of robots encoded by children in experience area.
    After seeing good achievement of units such as Goocoo Group and USTC in robot industry, Wang Xuejun and Li Jinbin were very happy, they encouraged enterprises to further strengthen international communication with this participation as opportunity, to boost collaborative innovation, to speed up the step of various robots from research & development to application, and from playing area to market, and to make greater contribution to concentrated development of robot industry in Anhui Province. Secretary Wang Xuejun pointed out that Robot Competition was a new platform for outward exchange and strengthening cooperation, and was the door of Hefei Local enterprises into the world; he exhorted relevant responsible personnel in Hefei City to focus on key fields, to give play to comparative advantages, to integrate and innovate in resources, and to make robot industry bigger & stronger, and be beautiful name card of Hefei City, with industry planning as guide and market mechanism as links.
