Perfect Ending of Robocup 2015 Sponsored by Goocoo Group

    On the evening of July 22, the closing ceremony and the award ceremony of the 19th RoboCup were held in Anhui International Convention and Exhibition Center. After four days of splendid demonstration and fierce competition, Robocup 2015 sponsored by Goocoo Group was completed. University of Science and Technology of China, Goocoo Group’s cooperation unit, has had considerable success, winning two champions in the robotics precision testing project of soccer 2D simulation league and occupational league, and its intelligent service robot “Kejia” won the second place in the game of home service robots.
    RoboCup2015 is a world-class robotics competition characterized by the largest scale, highest level and deepest impact, and is an important platform to display the intelligent manufacturing technology and achievements in today’s world. The competition was hosted by the International Federation of RoboCup, jointly undertaken by Hefei Government and China RoboCup Committee. In 2014, Goocoo Group sponsored RoboCup China Robot Open. After that, Goocoo Group actively assumes responsibility of enterprises of Anhui Province, and has fully sponsored RoboCup 2015 this year. The Group established the Goocoo Robotics Innovation Experience Zone, showing the world Goocoo Group’s impressive achievements in the robotic industry.
    During the competition, Goocoo robots were fully affirmed by provincial and municipal leaders. On the morning of July 19, after the opening ceremony, Wu Cunrong, Secretary of Hefei Municipal Committee and Standing Committee of CPC Anhui Provincial Committee, entered the Goocoo Robotics Innovation Experience Zone, watched the demonstration of a new generation of Goocoo intelligent robots, and positively viewed Goocoo’s determination and measures to develop the high-tech industry. On the afternoon of July 22, Wang Xuejun, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, and Li Jinbin, Acting Governor, also came to the Goocoo Robotics Innovation Experience Zone, and interacted with Goocoo robots, approving robots’ lovely appearance and intelligent functions, praised Goocoo Group’s promising results in the robot industry, and encouraged Goocoo Group to continue capturing industrial highland, to set up a robotic production line as soon as possible, bringing intelligent service robots into numerous households.
    During the competition, the Goocoo Robotics Innovation Experience Zone has become the most popular one in the pavilion. Exhibition products of Goocoo Robotics Company, such as robots able to deliver meals or greeting robots, are independently developed by the Company, with completely independent intellectual property rights. Among them, lovely and cute greeting robots “Googoo” and “Coocoo” are wildly popular with audiences, and also become the focus of media reports.
    As an integrated enterprise of Anhui Province, in early 2014, Goocoo Group was determined to transform and upgrade towards an emerging high-tech and intelligent industry, and was actively dedicated to the robot industry, which has been developed greatly as an important business of the Group. The Group jointly signed an agreement of strategic cooperation for Hefei robot industry with University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and Administrative Committee of Hefei High-tech Zone, and has set up the “Center Robotics Research of USTC-Goocoo” and Anhui Goocoo Robot Industry Holding Co., Ltd., and became a shareholder of the listed company “Tongling Zhongfa Suntech Co., Ltd.”. At present, Goocoo Robot Company has gone into production. A new generation of intelligent service robots demonstrated on the competition is its new products.
    As the competition comes to a close, Goocoo Group comes to a new starting point. The Group will continue expanding new markets, grab new heights of intelligent manufacturing, and spend 5 to 10 years in building Goocoo Robot Company into a well-known intelligent robot enterprise at home and abroad.
