RoboCup Chairman Itsuki Noda visited and experienced Goocoo Robot Restaurant

    In the afternoon on July 24, after the end of RoboCup Academic Conference, companied by Chen Gang, Deputy General Manager of Anhui Goocoo Robot Industry Holding Co., Ltd., and Song Shuangjiang, Deputy General Manager of Goocoo Business Management Company, RoboCup Chairman Itsuki Noda and Vice Chairman Zhou Changjiu visited and experienced Goocoo Robot Restaurant on 4/F, Goocoo Plaza, IFC, Hefei.
    Chairman Noda expressed sincere thanks for Goocoo Group sponsoring RoboCup, congratulated Goocoo Group that the Goocoo Robotics Innovation Experience Zone had made remarkable achievements in the activities, gave Goocoo Group high marks on transformation and upgrading, as well as expanding in intelligent manufacturing field, and hoped to continue cooperation with Goocoo Group in the field of education robot.
    Chairman Noda knew about equipment operation of robot restaurant in detail, and put forward valuable improvements after watched the demonstration of robot serving. He praised that Goocoo Robot Restaurant surpassed similar restaurants abroad in terms of scale and specifications. When watching, Chairman Noda took scores of photos of restaurant, timely showing Hefei Goocoo Robot Restaurant to people in the robot industry all over the world via social networking platform.
    Goocoo Robot Restaurant is currently China’s largest robot restaurant, covering a total area of 1,300m2, able to hold 200 people at the same time. More than 50 robots serve up orderly. The restaurant is divided into four functional areas, namely, dining area, interactive entertainment area, robot derivatives display and sales area, as well as robot experience area. Since the opening of the restaurant, diners in or out of Anhui Province come to experience it, becoming a tourist highlight in Hefei. During the RoboCup, foreign friends visited and experienced this restaurant in a continuous stream.
    According to Chen Gang, Deputy General Manager of Goocoo Robot Company, explained, during the RoboCup, robots able to deliver meals and coffee, which are demonstrated in the Goocoo Robotics Innovation Experience Zone, would come into use in the restaurant. Those robots look beautiful and lovely, and their stability has been further enhanced, and man-machine interaction can be realized. A new generation of robots has independent intellectual property rights. The output of 100 robots or so will be achieved in the second half of this year. Goocoo Group will continue using the platform of robot restaurant to demonstrate new products, to set up a new image, in domestic and international markets, and to establish the brand “made in Hefei with intelligence”.
