The grid connection of the country"s largest single commercial roof distributed power station has been realized smoothly

On December 25, the grid connection ceremony of Trina Solar 30 MW roof distributed power station and the operation ceremony of Trina Solar 600 MW photovoltaic module production base was held grandly in Jingshang Trade City in Hefei New Station District. Ling Yun, deputy secretary of Hefei Municipal Party Committee, Wang Wensong, secretary of Party Working Committee and director of Management Committee of New Station district, Gao Jifan, chairman of Trina Solar Ltd., Yuan Qihong, chairman of Goocoo Group and other leaders and guests attended the ceremony.

The total quantity of power station project in this grid connection is 30 MW with a total investment of about RMB 240 million Yuan, about 110 thousand pieces of photovoltaic cell modules were laid on the roof of more than 300 buildings of Jingshang Trade City with a total of 450 thousand square meters, this project is the largest single commercial roof distributed power station in China. Its cumulative annual energy production is up to 32.088 million kilowatt hours, saving about 12 thousand tons of standard coal and reducing the emission of carbon dioxide for about 32 thousand tons. In addition, the photovoltaic cell module project invested by Trina Solar in New Station District had also been put into production successfully on the same day, with the industry-leading fully automated assembly line, this project will have the production capacity of 600 MW of solar modules after completion, which will realize an annual sales revenue of 2 billion Yuan.

In recent years, Hefei City has proposed to create the grand layout of "the first city of China’s photovoltaic application". In this context, the New Station District has seized the opportunity and made innovations in model, it has fully exploited the advantages of industry carrier, successfully contributed to the cooperation between Trina Solar and the two groups--Goocoo Group and Rainbow Group, and the sustainable development mode that stimulates investment in production projects and boosts enterprise resources complementarity with photovoltaic product application has been established.
