Establishment of Goocoo Research Institute of Shanghai Finance University (Free Trade Zone Finance Institute)

In order to meet great challenges of economic and financial field at home and abroad, seize a new opportunity to develop the China (Shanghai) pilot free trade zone and comply with the development strategy that cities in the pan-Yangtze river delta should be closely communicated, recently, the first open-type research institute in Shanghai jointly built by colleges and enterprises - Shanghai Finance University Goocoo Research Institute (Free Trade Area Finance Research Institute) Has Been Established was formally established.

Relying on advantageous disciplines and famous experts and scholars of Shanghai Finance University, the Institute integrates resources from different sectors of the society, and sets up an open, innovative international platform for researchers engaging in the finance, economy and management in the world. The platform is not only an innovative platform cooperated by the government, enterprise, university and research institution, but also a platform to cultivate interdisciplinary and cross-industry research teams and develop applied research results. The establishment of the Institute will become a new stage where the researches match the requirements of the government and industries, focus on major economic and social problems and carry out the research of application countermeasures and strategy consulting.
