2014 List of Top 500 Private Enterprises of China was revealed, two Anhui enterprises were on the list

List of 2014 Top 500 Private Enterprises of China selected by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce was revealed yesterday. Suning Holdings Group ranked first with annual revenue of 279.813 billion RMB  re-topped the First of Top 500Private Enterprises of China since No. 1 last year. Two Anhui enterprises were on the list.

Goocoo Group leads the private enterprises of Anhui

In 2014, two Anhui enterprises were on the List of Top 500 Private Enterprises of China selected by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. The listed enterprises were one less than that in 2013. Goocoo Group (Anhui) ranked No.150 with annual revenue of 25.2 billion RMB ,and Tongling Jingda Copper Products (Group) Co., Ltd. ranked No. 482 with annual revenue of 9.5 billion RMB.

Compared with that of 2013, annual revenue of two Anhui enterprises on the list showed a rising trend. Among them, annual revenue of Goocoo Group was 13.5 billion RMB in 2013, ranking No. 233; that of Tongling Jingda Copper Products (Group) Co., Ltd. was 8.24 billion RMB ,ranking No. 460.

Quanwei (Tongling) Copper Technology Corporation was the highest-ranking enterprise of Anhui on the 2013 list (with annual revenue of 23.09 billion RMB, ranking No. 124), but disappeared from the 2014 list. Its parent company, Amer International Group (the headquarters is located in Guangdong Province), founded by Anhui merchants, ranked No. 5 with annual revenue of 233.8 billion RMB.

Anhui private enterprises are still lack of bigwigs

Eleven Anhui enterprises were on the list of Top 500 Private Manufacturers of China released at the same time. Tongling Jingda (with annual revenue of 9.50 billion Yuan RMB, Anhui Zhongding Holding (with annual revenue of 8.20 billion RMB and Anhui TRUCHUM Investment (with annual revenue of 7.80 billion RMB became the Top 3 Anhui private manufacturers, respectively ranking No.291, No.319 and No.331 on the list.

Meanwhile, no Anhui service enterprise was on the list of 2014 Top 100 Private Service Enterprises of China. In fact, both the List of Top 500 Private Enterprises of China, the list of Top 500 Private Manufacturers of China, or the list of Top 100 Private Service Enterprises of China, Anhui enterprises failed to squeeze into the top 100. Compared with other provinces in China, Anhui private enterprises are still lack of bigwigs.

Suning Holdings re-topped the list

In the top 500, Suning Holdings Group ranked first with annual revenue of RMB 279.813 billion, and re-topped the list for the fifth straight year. Legend Holdings, Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering ranked No.2 and No.3 respectively with annual revenue of RMB 244.031 billion and 241.387 billion. Huawei, Amer International, Jiangsu Shagang, China Energy, Dalian Wanda, Geely Holdings and Vanke ranked No.4 to No. 10 respectively. In 2014, the minimum annual revenue of 9.122 billion RMB was required to make the cut for the top 500 private enterprises, with a net increase of 1.35 billion RMB than that of last year, increased by 17.38%.

It was reported that seven enterprises on this list were on the list of World Top 500 released by Fortune. The assets of Top 500 private enterprises of China amount to 11.022703 trillion RMB. Vanke Co., Ltd. re-topped with total assets of 479.205 billion RMB.
