    It is reported that the sale price of a dish delivery robot is about RMB 60,000 with the service life of about five years. It is RMB 12,000 every year for 8 hours’ work every day with only RMB 3-4 electricity bill without the need of rest and food. The annual pay will be RMB 30,000-40,000 if it is replaced by an attendant. So it is much cheaper to buy a robot than employing an attendant.

    Reporters have learned that the first robot-themed restaurant in Hefei will introduce about 40 second generation robots.
    “They are equipped with waistlines, sense of science & technology and more abundant color options” said by relevant responsible person. Considering the interactions with children, height of these robots is designed to about 1.2 m. In the future, there robot babies may also install voice system through cooperation with voice-dedicated enterprise and can talk Hefei dialect with diners.
It is understood that the restaurant will mainly provide Chinese-style food and partial western-style food in common prices, in order to meet the needs of most citizens.
