“Made with wisdom of Hefei” shines at the World Robot Conference

For industrial robots, carrying goods is as easy as winking, service robots deliver tea and water with full of wisdom, specialized robot can enter the water for survey, entertainment robots can sing and dance... On November 23, 2015 World Robot Conference was held in Beijing National Convention Center, domestic and international top intelligent manufacturing enterprises had all displayed their sophisticated intelligent technology products. At the exhibition of Conference, Anhui Goocoo, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei Sineva, USTC Hefei Institutes of Physical Science and a number of enterprises and institutions joined the exhibition, showing the charm of innovation of “Made with wisdom of Hefei” to the world.

The new generation of meal delivering robot “Wind-fire wheel” which was produced through the independent research and development of Hefei local enterprises--Anhui Goocoo Robot Industry Shareholding Co., Ltd. attracted the attention of many viewers. It is said that the robots of Goocoo Robot Co., Ltd. involved in this exhibition have formed a strong “lineup”, as besides two generation of meal delivering robots, shopping guide robots "Dabai" and "Gougou" also debuted. With the appearance like the simple and honest fatty in the film “Big Hero 6”, “Dabai” has attracted many visitors to take group photos with it; while, strong and good-natured “Gougou” has a powerful touch screen, people are able to find the map of the mall, it can also lead the way and bring you there. Beijing residents and representatives of enterprises, even foreign journalists came to visit the exhibition have taken group photos with them one after another and asked about relevant technical details.

At 12 noon, Liu Yunping, the technical director of the Company managed to find time to eat a boxed lunch. In the face of the visitors coming one after the other and their inquiries, he had continued explaining for the whole morning.

USTC--Goocoo Robot Research Center is the scientific research and achievements transformation platform of robot subsidized by Anhui Goocoo Group. The experts of Academic Committee in the Center are heavyweight, including MANUELA VELOSO, professor of Carnegie Mellon University in the United States etc. In the future, the brand new intelligent service robot will be strongly supported by the “collaborative innovation” of enterprises and institutions.

At another corner of the exhibition, USTC intelligent service robot “Kejia” was staying on one side quietly, the staff was conducting debugging at high pressure. As a "Robot Nanny", "Kejia" is a household service expert, it can identify and memorize user"s appearance characteristics, find the items specified by the user and hand them over to the user automatically according to the user"s verbal command. In the whole service process, the user can freely move around and change position and posture, robot “Kejia” is able to fulfill the task completely on its own without manual intervention. "The functions are really very strong, perhaps one day it can replace all the housewives and homemaking personnel, and become our good helper to do the housework!" A female visitor sighed with emotion after listening to the explanation.

Under the impetus of Made in China 2025 Strategy and the tendency of Industry 4.0 development, industrial robot is also another “star” of this exhibition. In front of the exhibition stand of Hefei Sineva Intelligent Machine Co., Ltd., large cleaning and handling robots were working very hard with compact and accurate action smoothly. Reporters noted that there were also many visitors coming for consulting and visiting the exhibition, and some enterprises had expressed their intention of cooperation.

The German KUKA robot, MicroHands minimally invasive robot, Turing robot, little i virtual robot...It is far-reaching for the development of Hefei intelligent manufacturing industry and its related enterprises to display robots together with the domestic and international first-class intelligent manufacturing enterprises.
