On March 22, evaluation results conference of 2017 China"s Top 500 Real Estate Development Enterprises was grandly held in Beijing, "2017 China"s Top 500 Real Estate Development Enterprises" and "Top 500 Housing Enterprises Preferred Supplier and Facilitator Brands" and other series of evaluation lists that received much concern was finally announced. It is reported that the evaluation of China"s Top 500 Real Estate Development Enterprises co-chaired by China Real Estate Association and China Real Estate Evaluation Center of Shanghai E-house Real Estate Research Institute has been carried out for nine years, its evaluation results have become the important criteria to comprehensively evaluate the comprehensive strength and industry status of real estate development enterprises. The conference attracted nearly 500 attendees from real estate development enterprises, service providers, suppliers and media representatives.

The evaluation report on Top 500 Real Estate issued by the conference pointed out that in 2016, the degree of concentration of industry was further enhanced, meanwhile, the growth speed of real estate development investment was as low as single digits in two consecutive years, the downward trend of the industry’s average rate of profit had not changed, which showed that the high growth period of the industry has ended. In the new stage of development, large-scale housing enterprises accelerate the acquisition of resources through merger and acquisition, small and medium-sized housing enterprises accelerate the transformation, the differentiation of real estate development enterprises is further intensified.

Taking the headquarters of Top 500 Housing Enterprises as the division standard, the proportion of East China continued to be in the lead, the progress of middle-China enterprises was significant. The evaluation report showed that the six regions—East China, South China, North China, Northeast China, West China and central regions accounted for 43.6%, 15.6%, 11.2%, 3.6%, 7.4% and 18.0% of the top 500 respectively.
