In July 2016, Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, National Development and Reform Commission and Ministry of Finance jointly issued the Notice on Developing the Cultivation of Characteristic Towns, and have explicitly set the goal of “Cultivating 1,000 Characteristic Towns Nationwide by 2020” for the first time, which indicated the evolution of China’s new urbanization from planning concept to product model. “Love” Town of Xuancheng Xingang Cultural Tourism City emerged at the right moment. “Construction of the International Tourism Culture Demonstration Zone in South Anhui” will promote the integration and internationalization of tourism in Xuancheng, Huangshan and Chizhou, and also bring a new opportunity to the development of Xuancheng tourism industry.
