【China Anhui News 】Anhui Enterprises 2018 “Top 100 List” released! Look around, maybe there’s a place for you!

On November 10, Provincial Enterprises Association and Provincial Entrepreneurs Association released the list of 2018 Top 100 Anhui Enterprises, Top 100 Anhui Manufacturing Enterprises and Top 100 Service Enterprises.

Tongling Nonferrous Metals Group, Conch Group and Masteel Group were ranked in the top three of the Top 100 Comprehensive Enterprises with the operating revenue of RMB 157.3 billion yuan, RMB 132.5 billion yuan and RMB 79.6 billion yuan in 2017 respectively.

From the number of top 100 enterprises shortlisted, private enterprises accounted for more than half for the first time, up to 51%, and showed a rising trend in the operating income, profit, proportion, and so on.

This year, the Top 100’s operating revenue reached RMB 1.83 trillion yuan, up 12.96% from the previous year. Among them, the proportion of operating income, profit and tax in the manufacturing industry decreased year by year, but that in the service industry, the extractive industry and the construction industry decreased. There were nine fewer service enterprises in the top 100 than the previous year.          

This year, the top 100 enterprises spent RMB 27.86 billion yuan on research and development, accounting for 1.53% of their total operating revenue. The strategy of “Going Global” has been continuously promoted and the capability of transnational operation has been continuously improved. In recent years, the overseas income of the top 100 enterprises in Anhui Province has been increasing year by year, and reached RMB 103.825 billion yuan this year, with an increase of 6.73% year on year. Three enterprises have been listed as “Top 100 Chinese Multinational Companies”. Overseas income of private enterprises grew rapidly, with an increase of 48.94%.

Seen from the regional distribution of top 100 enterprises, Hefei’s primacy has been further improved. Hefei ranks first with 55 of top 100 enterprises, and a total operating income of RMB 823.633 billion yuan, accounting for 44.42% of the total operating income of top 100 enterprises. Wuhu ranked second with 10 enterprises, while other cities have one or two enterprises in the top 100.
