Goocoo Group spends Children"s Day with parent-absent children

During the International Children’s Day (June 1st) approaching, together with Hefei Municipal Civilization Office and Municipal Sunshine Volunteer Service Foundation, Goocoo Group launched public benefit activities of “Celebrating Children’s Day and Showing Concern on Parent-absent Children”; it organized 35 parent-absent children from Wangnan Primary School in Duji Village, Changfeng County to visit Hefei Science and Technology Museum and Robotics Laboratory of University of Science and Technology of China, and to experience service by robots in Robot theme restaurant of IFC Goocoo Plaza; the working personnel from Goocoo Group spent a happy holiday of approaching science & technology and letting dreams fly, with these children.
     On the morning of May 31st, under the accompanying of working personnel from Goocoo Group and volunteers, these children came to Municipal Science and Technology Museum. The volunteer narrators of Science and Technology Museum passionately took children to visit scientific and technological instruments, patiently introduced the working principles of these instruments to children, and showed the quaquversal film of science and technology-“Leap beyond Limitation” to children for free. The Science Popularization Programs in novel forms combine interesting experiments with scientific principles, and explain the profound theories in simple terms, with vivid images; which make these children acquire scientific and technological knowledge easily and happily.
     After the journey in the morning is completed, the children were taken to robot theme restaurant of IFC Goocoo Plaza for lunch. The charmingly naive robot presented tasty delicious food to everyone; the modern science and technology service brought unprecedented novel experience to the children. In the afternoon, the working personnel from Goocoo Group and volunteers accompanied children to go to University of Science and Technology of China, and to watch excellent performance of intelligent robot “Nao”. Under the command of scientific research personnel, “Nao” performed programs such as singing, dancing, martial art and football for children; with curious eyes, the children strived to be the first to conduct interaction with robot. After leaving the campus of University of Science and Technology of China, the working personnel saw these parent-absent children off, and the one-day journey for science and technology ended.
     Always bearing the mission of “Coloring your life”, Goocoo Group has been committed to the career for public benefits, and it contributes a lot to creating public civilization and a society full of love. The activities this time is full of atmosphere of science and technology and full of love, which received enthusiastic welcome from parent-absent children and their school; with science and technology up close, the scientific dreams are let fly in the hearts of children.
